Andrew Stephen’s The Season That Really Was – a book that follows Cambridge United’s 2025-26 promotion season – has been selling like hot cakes (or hot dogs if you prefer a football ground analogy).
Several fans have asked us to produce a hardback version, which they say will make the perfect Christmas gift for any Cambridge United fan, as well as a cherished souvenir to mark that fantastic promotion from League Two at the first attempt. Well done, the U’s!
Paperbacks will be going on sale at the club shop this week. If there’s enough demand, we expect the club will be selling hardbacks, too.
